TREATING THE CAUSE VS. TREATING THE PAIN
Your symptoms tell us a lot about your injury. Where does it hurt? When does it hurt? How bad does it hurt?
However, in order to truly treat your injury we need to treat more than just your symptoms. Chiropractic sports medicine teaches us to look at the whole body and the biomechanics which lead to the injury. We figure out why the injury occurred and work with the patient to correct the cause. Many factors can lead to injury including proper equipment, proper training, prior injury, muscle imbalance, joint fixations, and even psychological factors. Our job is to treat the pain and find the root of the problem.
WHAT WE DO
We utilize advanced therapy techniques with proven efficacy including Active Release Techniqueโข, kinesiology taping, chiropractic adjusting, rehabilitation exercises, and home exercise/stretching protocols. ย We also have extensive experience treating injuries related to motor vehicle accidents and worker's comp. ย Every patient that walks in our door is examined and a treatment plan is developed based on their individual needs. ย We may see our patients several times for acute injuries, one or two times for minor aches and pains, or put them on a wellness plan to optimize performance, reduce re-injury and maintain good health.
